Redirect domain.tld to www.domain.tld in Parallels Plesk Panel

Redirect domain.tld to www.domain.tld in Parallels Plesk Panel - If a page has internal and external outgoing links to redirecting URLs, it’s returning 3xx (301, 302, etc.) HTTP status codes standing for redirection. This issue means that the page does not exist on a permanent or temporary basis. It appears on most of the popular web browsers, usually caused by a misconfigured website. However, there are some steps you can take to ensure the issue isn’t on your side. You can find more details about redirecting URLs by reading the Google Search Central overview. In this article, we’ll go over how you can fix the Redirect domain.tld to www.domain.tld in Parallels Plesk Panel error on your web browser. Problem :

I inherited a website which has been set up in Parallels Plesk Panel as www.domain.tld. Now the problem is that domain.tld shows the default Parallels Plesk page and doesn't redirect to www. I've read in many places the solution for the opposite problem but can't find anything for this!

Is there a way to correct this? Or do I have to recreate the website?

Solution :

Since simply renaming the domain from www.domain.tld to domain.tld didn't work at first (the error was saying that domain.tld already existed), I created an alias as domain.tld. This wasn't working either (circular redirection?), so I deleted the alias and suddenly I was able to rename the domain. Now it works fine.

We hope that this article has helped you resolve the redirects, shared-hosting, plesk error in your web browsers. Enjoy browsing the internet uninterrupted!
